is a very genteel one this week!! Time for High Tea I think!! Tiny cucumber sandwiches and tea from a proper teapot!!
Have made another tea cosy, this time with my vintage fabrics and an appliqued little bird.
I'm pleased with the colours of this one - and yet, you know what it's like when you are almost out of a favourite fabric!!!
Want to use it - but don't want to!!! Tis the same for both my Grandma's curtain fabric and the wonderful red striped one unfortunately!! But there it is!!
It's a bit like when you're reading a brilliant book, isn't it? You want to carry on, but the nearer you get to the end, you want to slow down and not let it end!!!!
Enough waffling!! Have a lovely creative day and see some more creative spaces here.
oooh I love it, I really need a teapot I think.
ReplyDeleteI really love the fabrics that you have choosen, definitely would suit a little high tea party.
ReplyDeleteJust popped over to see your creative space, and I'm so glad I did! Love the tea cosies, and all your other things too! Love the Bodkins!!

Oh that is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the book though. I love getting into a book, but once I love it I don't want it to end :)
beautiful. i know what you mean about the fabric chopping and ending a novel dilemma
ReplyDeleteVery sweet Tanya, I love it! And I especially like all the little details like the birdie. Well done honey xo
ReplyDeleteahh, exactly like that book! which is why my repetitive nature aren't insane at all! Love the birdie
ReplyDeleteOh that is just so pretty! I think I'd drink a whole lot more tea if I had one of those...
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely... might go grab a cuppa myself now... but I don't think it will be as sweet an affair as what you got going on.
ReplyDeleteThats lovely, Im still on the search for my perfect teapot (how difficult can that be?). Time to go build your fabric stash then?
ReplyDeletehave a happy day x
Lovely! I'll put the kettle on...

Such an awful feeling, coming to the end of a food book and I find it takes a while to find another after.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely tea cosy, gorgeous fabrics.
My vintage pile is looking a little sad and although feeling the need to make more cushions from it I really don't want to use it up.
